How Young Arrows Darts Academy handles personal data — especially children's data — when you book a taster or join the club.
Placeholder notice. This is a starting template. Before go-live, the club must confirm the lawful basis, retention period, and contact details with whoever is responsible for data protection, and replace the bracketed items below.
Young Arrows Darts Academy ("we", "us") is a junior darts academy in Cheam. For any data-protection question, contact us at hello@youngarrows.com.
When you submit a taster-booking enquiry we collect: the player's first name and age, your preferred session, the parent/guardian's name, an email address, an optional phone number, and any message you add. We do not ask for the child's surname, address, school or photographs through this form.
We use these details only to arrange and confirm a taster session and to contact you about it. Because this involves a child's data, we ask for the parent/guardian's consent on the form before storing anything; you can withdraw consent at any time. [Confirm lawful basis — consent / legitimate interests — with the club.]
Players who join the club appear in our public league table and profiles using first name and last initial only (e.g. "Maya S.") together with darts statistics. We never publish surnames, dates of birth, contact details, addresses or photographs of children on the public site.
We keep booking enquiries only as long as needed to arrange the taster and any follow-up, then delete them. [Confirm a specific retention period, e.g. 12 months.]
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you or your child, or to stop using it. Email hello@youngarrows.com and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
We may update this notice; the latest version will always be on this page.
